What a marvelous time we had during our week in Pozzuoli bay and it was made all the better because Morrena and Stefano made us feel at home and nothing was too much trouble.  Directions for all the local forms of transport plus very clear instructions for a wonderful day trip to Rome by train meant we could travel around so easily even though we didn't speak the language.  Being collected from and returned to the airport was terrific.  To top it all the locals were all so friendly and accommodating.  We saw the realItaly which was wonderful - we would recommend taking a holiday inPozzuoli and surrounding area above the likes of Sorrento.  The Italians are very welcoming and what wonderful food and wine!  Morrena and Stefano thank you very much for a very professional and very friendly service throughout.

Just wanted to drop a line to thank you and Stefano for your help during our
stay in Pozzuoli.  Your mini tour and excursions meant that the stay was enjoyable
and we were able to make the very best of our relatively short stay.
We both had a great time and have resolved to learn a little Italian before
our next trip.
Once again thank you for a great break.
Kind Regards

I was extremely satisfied with the way our holiday went.
You certainly have covered all angles with organization and made sure that if we had any
problems you were both there to deal with it.
I wish to verify all that has been said before by everyone else and more, weather,,food,,
wine etc etc superb.  I have already recommended it to others.
All my best to the staff at Tripergola

I am so pleased I took my holiday with Morrena and Stefano at Pozzuoli Holidays. Being a single woman traveling on your own could be a bit daunting but I was collected from the airport and given a very good initial orientation of the area on the first day. I had no trouble after that in traveling all over the area to see the wonderful archeological sites and beautiful scenery this area has to offer. My room was great with fabulous views and the staff were always very friendly and helpful. I would recommend this holiday to anyone interested in archeology and beautiful scenery. I hope I will be able to return one day. Thanks for the great holiday.
Best wishes

"First-class, hands-on service from the friendly and enthusiastic Pozzuoli Holidays plus a clean, comfortable apartment at the friendly Villa Luisa made our trip as easy and carefree as it could be.
"If you're looking to try Napoli and the region for the first time, especially self-catering with small children, you'll be hard pushed to find a better package than that on offer from Pozzuoli Holidays, who couldn't do enough for us and found us the perfect place to stay.
"If you like the hustle and bustle of a city by the sea, to escape to picturesque islands across a beautiful bay, to explore some historic gems, stunning scenery and - most of all - good food,
then this area will not disappoint.
"Buon viaggio!"

I've been meaning to get in touch since we got back to thank you for our holiday but I've just been so busy at work!  Nick and I were just reminiscing this weekend about our stay at the Tripergola and about how independent we felt, travelling all over the area on the local transport - this came about because we received a copy of the latest Citalia brochure and realised we couldn't imagine going 'Package' again with organised excursions, being herded around like sheep!! Visiting all the archeological sites on our own and having the places virtually to ourselves has really spoilt us so we'll be back in touch with you to book up for next year! (We've still got the underwater port to see amongst other things!)
Wishing you both all the best

Kind regards

Sandra and Nick

On behalf of all 6 of the family who have recently returned from our holiday I would like to thank you for the overwhelming hospitality that you showed during our short but thoroughly enjoyable time in Pozzuoli. The area was remarkable, the local food and drink sublime and the locals even understood my makeshift Italian, read straight from the book. From the original phone call made back in January I have received numerous e-mails from you offering information on the area, information on train times all of which were very much appreciated and helped me make my wife's surprise 30th Birthday an unforgettable experience. I would once again like to emphasize to anyone contemplating booking with Morrena and Stefano, how refreshing to book with a company with a personal touch, who have true passion for not only the area they work, but also have a genuine desire to make their clients holiday as pleasant and enjoyable experience as possible.
Many Thanks Andy & Family

Comments from Julia & Tracy who stayed with us in September 2004 - Hotel Ref: TP102 (Hotel Tripergola)
Hand on heart; I can't remember enjoying a holiday as much as the one I spent in Arco Felice. It's the perfect base to see everything there is in the area... just a shame that you probably need two months, rather than two weeks, to do it! Going into Naples on the local train from there is a doddle, with so much to see in the city when you arrive. The city itself is an experience like no other - a really buzzing and fascinating place - full of art, history and tradition, fabulous food and street markets like I've never seen (even took photos of the tripe stalls!). In contrast, London seemed really pedestrian on our return.
Another highlight was Procida... all three islands are beautiful, but Procida was a real treat, being totally unspoilt and calm (it's dinfinitely not such a tourist hot-spot as Capri and Ischia) .... and hopefully it will stay that way. If you've been into Naples the day before and feel the need for something a bit more relaxing, this is a really dreamy little place.
We still talk about how well we ate during our two-week stay, and if you like seafood and PROPER pizza, this is THE place for you. Eating out is so cheap, not just compared with London, but pretty much anywhere in the UK, and it was a real pleasure to eat so well, and so cheaply, every day. Everyone should make a point of trying the food from the street stalls - amazing 'snacks' which could easily replace a meal if you get carried away (like we did)
Finally, Morrena and Stefano, a big 'thank you' to the pair of you, who made the holiday exactly what we were looking for. If you enjoy the independence of getting about on your own, but like to know that there's someone on the end of a phone in an emergency, then this really is the holiday for you - Morrena, you definitely earned the mega-big gold star by coming out in your pyjamas to collect us from Pozzuoli at 11.00pm!
I can't wait to come back (hopefully next year!) and carry on exploring the place.
Lots of love, for now,
Julia xxx

Well back to the daily grind after a wonderful break at this hotel. It was indeed everything you said about the area and hotel but much more. I must say as an independent traveller from many years I was slightly apprehensive about what I considered to be a semi package holiday. (how wrong I was). You were both there when needed and inconspicuous when we wanted to explore ourselves, a wonderful combination. You are both passionate about your business and it shows. Thanks again for the lovely treat on our anniversary, it was a great surprise.
Marlene and Myself wish you both all the best for the future and I'm quite sure you will see us again in that in that wonderful place.

Comments from Janet, Jonathan, Becky and Mike who stayed with us in August 2004 - Hotel Ref: CM103 (Hotel Cala Moresca)
We had a wonderful time in Miseno and the area around Pozzuoli. It certainly lived up to our expectations on the archaeological front and I don't think we even managed to see everything in the two weeks, there was so much to visit. We enjoyed the volcanic features . We especially liked the very Italian atmosphere over the whole area on this side of Naples and we managed very well despite our hopelessly rudimentry Italian in getting around and eating in restaurants because the locals did their best to be helpful. The hotel was lovely with a terrific view of the very beautiful area round from our large balcony.
An especial thank you to you for all your efforts to make us feel welcome, lifts and troubling to find out all sorts of helpful information about the sights.
Only one downside - pizza back home is pretty awful stuff after the real thing!
Thanks a lot for a very re-invigorating couple of weeks.

"Another fabulous holiday with Pozzuoli Holidays! We holidayed first with Pozzuoli Holidays in 2003, again in 2004 and now planning our trip for 2005!!!
The Pozzuoli area is unlike any other, the people are friendly and helpful, the food is wonderful and there is so much to see and do. I have travelled with my parents to Pozzuoli and with my 6 year old daughter and everyone fell in love with the area, there is something for everybody and not a kids club in sight. We stay at the apartments, which are a great base for getting anywhere, the hotel is very comfortable and the staff (who have not changed) are excellent. Morrena and Stefano offer a first class service and have a wonderful knowledge of the area. Their passion for the area soon rubs off on you! A big thank you to Morrena and Stefano for re-introducing a very special part of Italy to us and here is to our next holiday in 2005.
Thanks again
Lynn and Olivia

Comments from Teresa, Mark and Seb(age 6) who were part of a family group of 7 people, they stayed with us in June 2004 - Hotel Ref: CM103 (Hotel Cala Moresca)
We had a wonderful time - the hotel was lovely, very relaxing and the views were amazing - breakfast on the patio was breathtaking! (Along with all the tempting cakes as well!) - All the facilities were lovely - and Seb had a fantastic time. The whole area was very Italian and we enjoyed finding our way around, both sightseeing and restaurant menu's! We thoroughly enjoyed our visits to Naples and Pompeii and would definitely like to see more, everyone was very friendly and helpful - in spite of our poor attempts at Italian! A big thank you for everything you did to help us settle in and find our way around the area - the information pack and the tour made us feel settled very quickly.

Comments from David and Janet who stayed with us in June 2004 - Hotel Ref: CM103 (Hotel Cala Moresca)
We have just returned from a wonderful holiday courtesy of Pozzuoli Holidays Ltd. The service provided by Morrena and Stefano is second to none. They looked after us personally as though we were members of their own family, meeting us at the airport and driving us around on our first morning to familiarize us with the area. The information pack they provided was first class and personal touches, like providing a bottle of water as we arrived at the hotel, make their operation something very special. This hotel is in an outstanding location with magnificent views out over the sea in all directions and very spacious grounds for relaxation. The restaurants actually on the Capo Miseno (Da Primitivo and Il Cetrangolo) were excellent both in quality and value. The Bay of Pozzuoli with all its historic archaeological sights is absolutely fascinating and visits to the islands of Procida and Ischia are very easy to make. All in all a memorable holiday - very many thanks - keep up the good work!
Best wishes
David and Janet

Just a quick note to once again thank you so very much for a fantastic holiday. We were very unsure what to expect upon arrival but the warmth from yourselves and the people of Pozzuoli was just unbelievable. It has been one of the most memorable holidays and we will definitely be back !!!! (the sooner the better). There is just never enough time on holidays to do everything but you both made it possible for us to see the places we wanted to the most.
The hotel was just fantastic for the views and the food and more importantly the friendliness of the staff.
Well it has turned out more than a short note but we can just go on and on about how wonderful everything was (we are starting to annoy people because we wont shut up!)
Once again thank you so much and we really hope that your continued success grows.
Love
Lesley & Michael.

Comments from Donna & Steve who stayed with us in September 2003 - Hotel Ref: CM103 (Hotel Cala Moresca)
The service that Morrena and Stefano provide truly goes beyond the art of customer service. The day we arrived they spent a few hours ferrying us around showing us how to get to places, various public transports and various sites. Even stopped at the local supermarket to stock on supplies and a local fruit merchant. Everything we could possibly want they provided, most of the time without us even having to ask. I would highly recommend to anyone to use Pozzuoli Holidays for their next vacation. You will experience Italy like no other.
The very best of luck to you both, you deserve it.
Thank you for a marvellous adventure.
Kind regards,
Donna and Steve Byfield

Comments from Brenda & Katherine who stayed with us in September 2003 - Hotel Ref: TP102 (Hotel Tripergola)
Pozzuoli is an excellent centre for exploring the classical antiquities of the Naples area. In addition to the well-known sites, Cuma and Baia are unbelievable - not to be missed! Morrena and Stefano's help was much appreciated to enable these places to be easily reached. We found the hotel friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed the excellent breakfasts and our large room with amazing view of the bay.
We really enjoyed our week and could not fit in all we wanted to do. Hope to return soon for more of the great Neapolitan welcome!

Good luck for the rest of the Season. Hope to see you both again.
Thanks again,
love Brenda and Katharine

Comments from Eirwen & Bob who stayed with us in August 2003 - Hotel Ref: CM103 (Cala Moresca)
If anyone is looking for a holiday with a difference, then "Pozzuoli
Holidays" is the perfect choice. We highly recommend your very friendly and helpful service and most of all, the personal touch you add for all your clients. We cannot thank you enough for bringing us to this undiscovered and most beautiful area of Italy.

We stayed at the Cala Moresca, as we wanted to combine lazy days by the pool with local sightseeing. The swimming pool was great fun! We mingled with Italian families and the lunchtime buffet was delicious, as well as good value for money.

The hotel was spotlessly clean and our room was very comfortable. By day, the panoramic view from our balcony was spectacular and by night, the scene was just magical!

There is no shortage of things to do in and around Pozzuoli. All tastes are catered for: you can visit the many archaeological sites in the region, you can chill out on the beach, or you can take a boat trip to the nearby islands and much more besides. Pompeii was the highlight of our stay and we also enjoyed a mini-cruise to Capri and Amalfi.

Your detailed travel tips and advice made it easy for us to get about and
you even took us to the supermarket for supplies! In two weeks, we still did not do everything, so fortunately we have a good excuse to return in the near future. We'll definitely be back!
So thanks again to you both for a splendid holiday - one that we will never forget!

Arrivederci!
Eirwen and Bob Wearn.

Comments from Sue & Dave who stayed with us in August 2003 - Hotel Ref: CM103 (Hotel Cala Moresca)
On arrival it was great to be greeted by such a friendly couple. Nothing was too much trouble and we were shown around our local area to where we were staying. This helps a lot as it allows you to get your bearings and takes away any concerns you may have.

Our stay was at hotel Cala Moresca. This is a very comfortable Hotel with friendly staff and good food and probably some of the best views you could get.

I would have no problem recommending Pozzuoli Holidays to our Friends and would recommend anyone to go to this area now while it is still the Real Italy.

Comments from Ian who came with his four daughters and stayed with us in August 2003 - Hotel Ref: CM103 (Hotel Cala Moresca)
We had a great time. I thought the service and advice you provide was far beyond the "normal" standard I have seen before. The buses can be a bit frustrating (but fun). I am glad we took your advice not to hire a car. It would have been a waste of money.
We also missed grey skies and rain - still, you can't have everything.
Overall value - definitely 5 star.

Comments from Rod and Kay who stayed with us in July 2003 - Hotel Ref: CM103 (Hotel Cala Moresca)
Thank you both for undoubtedly the best holiday we've ever had.
You have given us a problem though: I don't see how we can ever holiday in Italy again as it will surely never again give us the very great pleasure of the country and the company of two such very nice people. Thank you both for your untiring effort in ensuring that we had the very best experience possible. We will stay in touch of course and wish you every success in your venture. Certainly if effort, care and commitment count for anything, you must succeed beyond your wildest dreams. We certainly hope you do.
All our love and best wishes

Comments from Corrina & George who stayed with us in June 2003 - Hotel Ref: CM103 (Hotel Cala Moresca)
Thank you for giving us the opportunity to have a fantastic holiday. It was everything we hoped it would be and more.
Pozzuoli is such a wonderful place, with so much history that is unknown to people. To us, Pozzuoli is the real Italy, with all it's charm and beauty that surrounds it.
Our hotel was really lovely, and the staff were really nice and friendly. We must say that even though English is not spoken very much in that area, it made no difference because the people of Pozzuoli and the surrounding areas were so nice, that we were able to communicate with very little trouble.
We really loved it!!!!
Myself and George could not believe how inexpensive everything was; the public transport, food, and wine, oh the wine so inexpensive and absolutely beautiful. We will definitely be coming back to visit, and the next time it will be for a longer period.
Once again thank you both very much for everything, you made us feel so welcome and all your help was so much appreciated. Can't wait to see ye again.
Love, George and Corrina

Just a note to thank you for a lovely holiday we have really enjoyed it. Your kindness in helping us with our transport was much appreciated.
We wish you lots of luck with Pozzuoli Holidays. This area is full of interesting places and is also very beautiful. We managed to do such a lot. We will certainly recommend you to our friends.
This hotel was one of the nicest hotels that we have stayed in, the food was hard to beat and the views we will always remember, they are stunning. The room was spacious and very quiet, everything was perfect.
So thank you once again!
Regards,
Liz and Ian

Comments from Wendy & Rita who stayed with us in September 2002 - Hotel Il Gabbiano - we no longer use this hotel due to excessive weddings
I would have no hesitation in recommending Pozzuoli Holidays to anyone. Wonderful scenery, great food and a wealth of history on your doorstep.
Pozzuoli Holidays is run by very special people whose love and enthusiasm for this area is infectious. Nothing was too much trouble for them at all. They turned a vacation in to a marvellous experience and one that we will not forget. Thank you and yes, we will be coming again and again.

Comments from Rikki & Mick who stayed with us in July 2002 - Hotel Gauro - we no longer use this hotel as it is on a busy main road
Thanks very much for your message, and apologies for not replying sooner (catching up with work after our 2 weeks of freedom!). We had a really great holiday, and were so lucky with the weather too! Listed below are our comments on Pozzuoli and your service:
An ideal holiday for anyone who likes to feel independent but with your services to call upon if needed (and all the details of local transport, restaurants, sites to visit that you gave us were invaluable). Stefano was very helpful, but left it to us when we wanted to contact him, which was ideal.
Pre-holiday service (i.e. booking, confirmation, details about Pozzuoli and the hotel) was excellent. Very professional but with the personal touch, which we really appreciated.
Being picked up from and taken back to airport was an added bonus, made the whole journey much less stressful.
As for Pozzuoli itself - excellent local restaurants, which were very good value, good transport links (again, excellent value), and loads of places to visit. I would add that it is useful to have some Italian, however little, (or a phrase book and the confidence to use it), as Pozzuoli is not really geared up for English tourists, (which is one of the things we particularly liked about it!) so not much English is spoken. It is also well placed for trips to Pompeii, the Amalfi coast, Capri etc.
Hope you will be able to use some of these comments, and that your move goes smoothly - we'll be thinking of you watching the sunset on the beach at Torregaveta in December when we're shivering in our woollies and boots here!
All the best,
Rikki and Mick

Comments from Reg & Janice who stayed with us in May 2002 - Hotel Gauro - we no longer use this hotel
We had a most enjoyable time in Pozzuoli, this holiday was not a package deal it was very much an individual tailored holiday. The local knowledge from Morrena and Stefano helped us greatly to find the sights that interested us and the hotel suited our needs of providing a clean, friendly base for our stay in Pozzuoli. We found some local restaurants, which were very good value and very traditional - we love Italian cuisine! If your looking for a holiday that can provide accessibility to both City and country Pozzuoli is a good destination, allowing you quick and easy travel to Naples, Ischia and local villages.
Good Luck with Pozzuoli Holidays!
Best regards
Reg and Janice (Scotland)

Comments from Ian & Joe, who are history teachers and stayed with us at Easter 2002 - Hotel Ref: TP102 (Hotel Cala Moresca)
The holiday was superb. Anyone with an interest in history cannot fail but be amazed by the number of sites to visit, some of them, for example Pompeii, the complex at Baia and the ancient town of Cumae, far exceeding expectations.

Not only that, but the weather was great for the time of year and we spent hours walking along the beaches in the area, some of which seemed endless.

The food in the local restaurants was excellent and surprisingly cheap. We came back from Italy with over half of the money we had taken still in our pockets!

The care and attention to detail of Pozzuoli Holidays cannot be faulted: many bigger-name companies should take notice of the way in which P.H. treat their customers. We'll certainly be booking our holidays in Italy through this firm in the future."

Hope that's good enough - never having needed to write anything like this before. If there's anything you need in the way of references in the future, please don't hesitate to contact us.
Thanks once again for a superb holiday.

Comments from Ann & Paul Meacher and their daughter Emily and friend Julia who stayed with us in July 2001 - Hotel Ref: TP102 (Hotel Tripergola)
This was our first holiday in Italy and we and our teenage daughter and her friend had a wonderful time. With the help and inside knowledge of Pozzuoli Holidays, we were able to be adventurous and discover Italy off the tourist trail. Public transport is good and we easily got about by using the little coastal railway the Cumana and the ferries to get the islands of Procida, Ischia and Capri. We were impressed by this hotel, which had helpful, friendly staff and a good restaurant, also our rooms had a beautiful view of the Bay of Pozzuoli looking across to Capri. Generally - restaurants, bars, travel; excursions and visits to historic sites were fantastic value for money.
We fell in love with Italy!
