The hotel is situated up on Capo Miseno in an area of 40,000sq.mtrs., amid luxuriant Mediterranean 
vegetation stretching down to the sea.  The hotel is up high, hence the spectacular views from every balcony of
the hotel's rooms.  As you exit the hotel's short driveway (about a 3 minute walk, this is really the only part that 
is a bit steep on your return to the hotel), there are then two stairwells and these are not steep, with low 
graduation stairs that take you down to the base of the hotel where the beach starts and from here also runs the 
bus that takes you into the pretty little town of Bacoli, where you can easily reach the four main archaeological 
sites, the Gulf of Pozzuoli and Naples via public transport. The hotel is set in spacious, natural surrounds, with 
stunning views that look down on to the beach of Miseno and across to the Islands of Procida and Ischia. It's a 
good location if you want to enjoy the beach, which is sandy, the sea is shallow, warm and safe for children. 
The hotel also has a play area with climbing frames that children enjoy.  There is a very good restaurant at the 
hotel and people do come here just to dine, they have a good selection of foods, normally what they are cooking 
fresh that day, plus good pizzas, pastas and other local dishes. Breakfast, lunch and dinner is served on the 
Terrace or in the indoor restaurant. Also on the Terrace there is an area where you can sit and enjoy a drink 
and absorb the views. 

This lovely hotel with classical old fashioned style furnishings is very comfortable, you can sit comfortably 
in the lobby area, where there is the bar open all day and night. There is a good sized swimming pool, 
with toilets and shower room close by, sun terrace with sun beds and umbrellas. The hotel also has a private 
cove beach, you can walk down to or they have an open topped vehicle that can take you up and down, they 
also have sun beds and they serve snack lunches. This is not a sandy beach, it is a steep walk down to the 
cove and therefore not recommended for children, but great if you are a good swimmer as the water is deep. 
The hotel also has its own tennis court. There are a couple of very good restaurants close to the hotel, 
Restaurant Primativo and Il Centrangolo, both of which have been recommeded by our guests over the years.
There are some beach bars and restaurants at the base of the hotel that are open of an evening, as well as 
during the day.  On the beach you can hire sun beds and umbrellas cost approx.  4 Euro each, during the week
and approx. 5 Euro at the weekend.  The "Beach Brothers" lido is very popular with our guests. 
They do hold weddings at the hotel, but this is in a separate building on the complex, it does 
not affect your dining or sleeping at the hotel in any way, in fact our guests think it adds a nice atmosphere
to the hotel. We work with the Cala Moresca a great deal and we have never had anybody complain about 
the weddings.

The Rooms: 
Each room is provided with a balcony that has a stunning sea view, private shower/bathroom with hair dryer, air 
conditioning, phone, TV satellite and fridge. Rooms are clean and comfortable, but quite basic, with old fashioned
style furnishings and the floor has pretty floral printed tiles. The hotel also holds a safe for valuables, there is a 
lift and free parking facilities. 
What makes this hotel special are the views, especially the views from the balconies!

The Location:  
The hotel is located up on Capo Miseno, hence the spectacular views, near Bacoli.  

Our Opinion:  Perhaps some mature clients would find the walk up and down to the hotel a little too exhausting.  
Having said that, we have had an 83 year gentleman who loved the walk!  They do have a mini bus that can
collect you from the base of the hotel, you telephone them and give them a time you want collecting.  It is always
best to give them at least 30 minutes notice to avoid waiting.  We have had families stay here and the children
enjoy the area and being close to the beach, which is ideal for children.
